Overview

The Restoring Promise team is looking for a passionate intern to assist in criminal legal reform efforts, focusing on transforming prison culture and conditions through policy revisions and research support.

In Short

Support the Designed for Dignity project with agency assessments and trainings.
Conduct policy reviews and provide technical support for meetings.
Assist in writing and editing documents and reports.
Conduct literature reviews and support data entry and analysis.
Attend learning opportunities related to justice reform.
Participate in internal and external meetings.
Provide administrative support as needed.
Potential travel for site visits.

Requirements

Open to current students and non-student candidates interested in criminal legal reform.
Experience or exposure to the criminal legal system is preferred.
Lived experience as a person impacted by the criminal legal system is a plus.
Interest in Criminal Legal Reform, Correctional Services, Psychology, or Social Work.
