Overview

The Grand Rapids Public Transportation Intern will focus on advancing equitable and sustainable transportation outcomes in Grand Rapids through research, coalition-building, and community engagement.

• Engage with the transit community on budget processes.
• Report on opportunities and challenges to the Climate Cabinet team.
• Work approximately 20 hours per week for three months.
• Compensation of $22 per hour.

Requirements

• Experienced researcher with a knack for actionable insights.
• Proven project coordinator with at least one year of experience.
• Understanding of municipal or state government processes.
• Familiarity with public transit and active commuting.
