Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at ClearOps, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software solutions, working closely with developers and stakeholders.

In Short

• Execute exploratory and manual tests during feature acceptance in sprints.
• Create and execute automated end-to-end (E2E) test scripts in Playwright.
• Support and enhance the test automation strategy and framework.
• Perform web testing and REST-based API testing.
• Coordinate testing efforts within the Scrum team.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Review requirements and provide input on QA efforts.
• Advocate for best testing practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and QA in an Agile environment.
• 3+ years of experience in test automation (Playwright and/or Cypress preferred).
• Strong knowledge of web testing, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance principles.
• Experience in a shift-left approach to testing.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Experience with SQL-based databases is nice to have.
• Performance testing expertise is a plus.
• Experience in cloud-based environments, particularly AWS.
