Remote Medical Billing Specialist

Overview

The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for billing paper and electronic claims for primary and secondary payers, ensuring timely and accurate billing for designated payer classes, and monitoring outstanding accounts.

Requirements

• Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Associates’ degree and 2-5 years of medical billing experience.
• CPC/HIT certification required.
• Ability to use electronic medical record software.
