Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

As a Data Scientist at Citizen, you will be a key partner and data steward to product managers, engineers, and designers, driving data-informed decision-making across the Citizen experience to improve users’ safety.

In Short

• Analyze user behavior and product usage to identify trends and opportunities for product growth and engagement.
• Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations to define the product roadmap.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to guide strategic decisions.
• Design and analyze experiments to measure feature impact.
• Advocate for best practices in data usage and metrics reporting.
• Build data pipelines and develop dashboards for stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a data science or product analytics role.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python or R).
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and experimentation design.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Sigma) and data platforms (e.g., Bigquery).
