Leveraged Finance Underwriting Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Global Leveraged Finance Underwriting Team within Institutional Credit Management is seeking Analysts to enhance Citi's Leveraged Lending credit management process through collaboration with Banking, Capital Markets, and Risk.

In Short

• Provide analytical support to Underwriters in leveraged finance transactions.
• Assist in credit approval and origination process for clients.
• Perform periodic credit monitoring and portfolio management.
• Build and analyze financial models for client performance.
• Coordinate with teams for client financial reviews.
• Collaborate with product partners to understand deal structures.
• Research industry trends and risk issues.
• Monitor news related to leveraged lending clients.
• Develop strong credit skills and understanding of financial issues.
• Work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Capable of working independently and managing deadlines.
• Experience in financial analysis or credit assessment preferred.
• Strong writing skills for reports and presentations.
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Knowledge of risk management principles is a plus.
