Join our Data Security Services Team now and be part of our dynamically growing Citi Technology Team in Budapest! As a Junior Cryptography Engineer, you will research, develop, and certify security strategies and solutions within Citi's cyber security and cryptography framework.

In Short

• Research and develop security strategies and products.
• Support certification of Hardware Security Modules and Crypto applications.
• Create automated testing solutions and validate results.
• Analyze root causes of issues and prioritize corrective actions.
• Hold ownership of multiple products and share knowledge with teammates.
• 1-3 years of experience in technology and information security required.
• Knowledge of crypto techniques and algorithms needed.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• University degree in STEM or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• Experience in scripting languages (VB, Bash, PS, expect).
• Basic knowledge of PKCS protocols, JCE, and CSP/KSP.
• Strong security mindset.
• Programming skills in languages such as C++, C#, Python, Perl, Java is a plus.
• Ability to manage deadlines and track multiple projects.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
