Senior Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team, who has experience in Python, SAS, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks, and is ready to tackle technical challenges in data services.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and usability.
• Integrate and optimize data quality across all pipelines.
• Implement Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Participate in data governance rituals to ensure data quality.
• Define and track Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) related to data quality and performance.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively with the client team.
• Act as a trusted consultant for clients and internal teams.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions for data challenges.
• Manage the technical roadmap of the project.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years working with Databricks (Spark, PySpark) and/or PowerCenter.
• Strong experience in Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
• Experience with Azure services, particularly Data Factory.
• Solid understanding of data quality and DataOps practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments (Git, SCM).
• Strong problem-solving and effective communication skills.
• Ability to create and manage technical project roadmaps.
• Competence in orchestrating and integrating solutions.
