TASK Therapist - Remote

Overview

The TASK Therapist performs evaluations and treatment for children and adolescents who have caused sexual harm, providing clinical expertise on multi-disciplinary teams.

In Short

• Plan and facilitate individual and family therapy sessions.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations and make treatment recommendations.
• Provide mental status evaluations and clinical assessments.
• Document client progress and treatment plans.
• Supervise case managers and advocate for youth in various settings.
• Maintain professional standards and documentation.
• Provide 24-hour on-call support to clients and families.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid standards.
• Work collaboratively with other therapists and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a human service field with NC licensure.
• Experience in the human service field preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and behavioral interventions.
• Effective communication and leadership skills required.
• Basic computer and math skills necessary.
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License required.
• Pass background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• Cultural sensitivity to clients and families required.
• Ability to supervise and facilitate group therapy.
• Must meet physical demands of the job.
