Overview

Senior Associates work closely with senior consultants on project teams, requiring a strong knowledge of economic concepts and research skills.

In Short

  • Conduct research in a team-oriented environment alongside respected academics and industry experts.
  • Identify and conceptualize issues, design economic models, and manage research processes.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior analysts.
  • Assist in developing client deliverables, including expert reports and white papers.
  • Act as a primary contact for clients on practice-relevant issues.
  • Program and perform regression analyses using statistical programs.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of analyses and opinions.
  • Participate in practice-building activities.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in economics with a focus on quantitative research.
  • Curious and analytical thinker with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and programming languages.
  • High level of initiative and leadership.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Clear interest in consulting through relevant experience.
  • Understanding of economic, financial, and accounting concepts.
  • Experience with Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS, or Cloud computing.
