Regional Director, Food Safety & Quality Assurance Systems - Remote

Overview

This position provides internal and external direction and communication necessary to develop and sustain customer confidence in CHG’s quality and food safety performance in the North American Region.

In Short

• Build strong relationships with Key McDonald’s QS representatives.
• Review and improve quality systems and FSQA-related KPIs.
• Maintain and monitor Food Safety Plans and HACCP programs.
• Ensure North American bakeries meet sanitation requirements.
• Provide training programs for QA and Sanitation Managers.
• Drive Continuous improvement activities for quality standards.
• Contribute to root cause analysis.
• Manage regional FS/QA direct reports.
• Substantial travel required (up to 75%) in North America.
• Demonstrate and promote the Company’s Core Values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with large QSR customers.
• Experience with GFSI third party audit requirements.
• Knowledge of FSMA, Preventative Controls, and HACCP.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in bakery/dry mixing production environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Supervisory experience managing direct reports.
