Manual Tester for Mobile Applications - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Manual Tester to join our team and ensure the quality of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues, ensuring that our applications provide a seamless and user-friendly experience.

In Short

• Perform manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to resolve issues.
• Validate app functionality, performance, and user experience across different devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
• Conduct thorough re-testing and regression testing when issues are resolved.
• Provide feedback on application design and functionality to improve usability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manual testing, preferably for mobile apps.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with mobile testing tools (e.g., Appium, Charles Proxy, or similar is a plus).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Basic knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and their UI/UX guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• German mandatory.
