Overview

This position sits within the Quality and Population Health team at the Alliance. The position will supervise the Quality Improvement Program Advisors supporting the Alliance’s pay-for-performance Care-Based Incentive (CBI) Program for primary care providers. This position will support regulatory requirements and oversight of QI and health equity-related projects.

In Short

  • Supervises a team within the Quality Improvement (QI) and Population Health Department.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on Quality Improvement and Health Equity programs.
  • Oversees staff providing proactive solutions related to QI projects.
  • Mentors and trains assigned staff.
  • Knowledge of NCQA HEDIS measures and data analysis.
  • Experience with provider incentives.
  • Experience working in Medi-Cal Managed Care.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize the work of others.
  • Passion for supervising and mentoring staff.
  • Education in Business, Health Care, Data Science, or related field.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of supervision and training principles.
  • Experience with quality initiative techniques applicable to HEDIS, CBI, and QI projects.
  • Ability to train, mentor, supervise, and evaluate staff.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum four years of experience in Quality Improvement activities.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
