Pharmacy Coordinator - Remote

Overview

As a Pharmacy Coordinator at Centene, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy department in the development and maintenance of the health plan's pharmacy program while working remotely.

In Short

• Support pharmacy department efforts.
• Handle provider and pharmacy calls regarding prior authorization.
• Review pharmacy processes for compliance.
• Track and trend overrides and audit authorizations.
• Resolve complaints related to the pharmacy network.
• Educate providers on pharmacy processes.
• Assist with pharmacy utilization review.
• Collaborate with Quality Improvement department.
• Respond to member inquiries about formulary processes.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in managed care.
• Medicare and/or Medicaid experience preferred.
• Experience with analysis tools or systems.
• Experience in quality process improvement.
• Documentation and training material creation experience.
• Current state's Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
