Senior Technical Artist - Tools & Pipeline - Remote

Overview

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Technical Artist with a focus in Tools and Pipelines to join our studio to work on Project Orion, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077. In this role, you will help contribute to the research and development of our in-house tools and pipeline solutions to enable development teams to meet our creative and technical goals.

In Short

• Work closely with designers, artists and other developers to ensure tools and pipelines meet their needs.
• Enhance Digital Content Creation applications such as Maya and Motionbuilder.
• Maintain efficient workflows for content teams.
• Write high-quality, optimized code aligned with project goals.
• Prototype and integrate in-house tools and third-party solutions.
• Provide documentation and training for development teams.
• Foster collaboration to ensure effective tool and pipeline development.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a tools & pipeline developer or technical artist.
• Strong experience in C++, C#, and/or Python.
• Familiarity with content creation software like Blender and Autodesk Maya.
• Understanding of content creation processes.
• Experience with API development for co-developers.
• Knowledge of application interoperability.
• Experience with network automation and packaged environments.
• Creative problem-solving skills for technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills for technical concepts.
