Senior Gameplay Animator (Contract) - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Gameplay Animator to join our team on a fixed-term one-year contract. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Gameplay Designers, Programmers, and Technical Animators to create lifelike and immersive animations for human enemies (NPCs).

In Short

• Deliver in-game animations using Autodesk Maya, MotionBuilder, and Unreal Engine.
• Plan and direct motion capture sessions.
• Establish and maintain animation asset creation workflows.
• Develop NPC-related animation systems.
• Collaborate with gameplay designers and programmers.
• Enhance gameplay through lifelike animations.
• Work in a dynamic and creative environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience with motion capture data and key-frame animation.
• Solid understanding of animation principles and body mechanics.
• Experience shipping games with at least one title released.
• Good grasp of gameplay design.
• Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine animation systems.
• Very good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Python and ability to read C++ code is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
