Lab Manager/Research and Development (R&D) Manager - Remote

Overview

The Lab Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating CATHEXIS Labs’ operations across Solutions Delivery, Solutions Engineering, Research and Development, and Solutions Enablement. They execute the strategic goals set by the corporate Solutions Working Group, ensuring lab activities deliver measurable business value.

In Short

• Lead and manage lab operations and teams.
• Financial management of the lab budget.
• Oversee Solutions Delivery, Engineering, R&D, and Enablement.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
• Track KPI targets and report on lab performance.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer and documentation.
• Maintain a secure and efficient lab infrastructure.
• Work within an Agile framework.
• Demonstrate leadership in managing technical teams.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable plans.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 10 years of software engineering and infrastructure experience.
• 3 years of Project Management experience.
• Experience in federal program environments.
• Expertise in solution delivery lifecycles.
• Strong background in R&D methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of IP management.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% if not local.
