A Carter Lumber Multi‑Family Component/Truss Estimator is responsible for performing detailed material take‑offs and truss‑specific estimating for multi‑family construction projects. This role requires direct experience with truss design, truss layout interpretation, and component estimating. Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in multi-family truss design or estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints.
• Strong understanding of multi-family construction standards.
• Familiarity with professional estimating software.
• Proficiency in MiTek truss design software (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in building material sales is helpful.
