Overview

The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer will focus on overseeing the mechanical aspects of rotating packed beds, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

In Short

Update and approve mechanical data sheets and scope of work for rotating packed beds.
Review supplier deliverables from concept to commissioning.
Conduct calculations and analysis in accordance with ASME standards.
Monitor fabrication progress and conduct inspections.
Coordinate with various engineering disciplines.
Review Factory Acceptance Test procedures and inspection reports.
Engage with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Participate in HAZOP and DFMEA activities.
Conduct installation checks and pre-commissioning activities.
Analyze gaps between client specifications and industry standards.

Requirements

Experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with rotating equipment.
Strong knowledge of ASME Sec VIII and FEA.
Ability to conduct rotodynamic analysis.
Familiarity with inspection and testing protocols.
Excellent coordination skills across engineering disciplines.
Experience with HAZOP and DFMEA methodologies.
Proficient in reviewing technical documents and specifications.
Strong communication skills for client and vendor interactions.
Experience in commissioning processes.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
