Remote Accounting Manager / Controller

In Short

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Oversee and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and internal reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Process and manage payroll and related reporting.
• Maintain and optimize accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar platforms).
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate with external partners including auditors and financial consultants.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience (Controller or Accounting Manager level preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations.
• Solid understanding of payroll processing and compliance.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
