Overview

Seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation and cybersecurity compliance activities, focusing on Operational Technology (OT) and Facilities-Related Control Systems (FRCS).

In Short

  • Support RMF lifecycle in accordance with NIST SP 800-37 Rev. 2.
  • Implement cybersecurity strategies for OT and FRCS.
  • Conduct field-based discovery and technical interviews.
  • Use enterprise tools like eMASS and Tenable for security management.
  • Collaborate with Information System Owners and security teams.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for ATO packages.
  • Requires DoD Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
  • 100% remote with up to 30% travel required.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
  • 3-7 years of experience in RMF implementation.
  • Familiarity with eMASS, Tenable, and ACAS tools.
  • Strong understanding of NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with documentation for cybersecurity compliance.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity directives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
