R&D Tax Associate - Remote

Overview

Burkland is seeking an R&D Tax Associate to support our in-house R&D Credit Study offering, providing exceptional experiences in applying for and obtaining R&D Tax credits.

In Short

• Support the team in preparing and delivering R&D Tax Credit Studies for clients.
• Manage multiple projects and update the team project tracker regularly.
• Prepare work papers and documentation for R&D Tax credit calculations.
• Learn and master software tools needed for R&D Studies.
• Grow understanding of technical industries to prepare reports on R&D projects.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance internal processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Public Accounting, Tax, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of R&D tax credits or a strong desire to learn.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn various software tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Interest in software, biotechnology, and technical industries.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Desire to grow in the role and take on more responsibility.
