Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Our client is an exciting software company looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in their Monterrey, Mexico office.

In Short

• Experience with the order to cash process, including preparing regular invoicing for customers.
• Accounts payable and expense management.
• Post journal entries and own the month-end close processes.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts and daily bank activity.
• Develop robust workpapers and ensure all controls meet external auditor requirements.
• Implement process efficiencies and system improvements.
• Assist in planning and implementation of key financial software solutions.
• Assist with external audit requests and other ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting or related finance experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP required.
• Double-Entry accounting experience.
• Experience in the software/technology industry preferred.
• Experience with foreign entities and consolidations preferred.
• Passion for building and developing process improvements.
• Strong accountability and detail-oriented.
• Experience with Quickbooks and NetSuite is a plus.
