Technical Rigger (3 month FTC) - Remote

Overview

As a Technical Rigger, you will be working alongside the animation team to produce high-end content while providing technical rigs and helping define animation workflow and pipelines.

In Short

• Work closely with the animation team to create and maintain rigs.
• Skin, build, test, and maintain rigs for various assets.
• Write support tools and scripts for the animation pipeline.
• Ensure assets meet quality and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• 3+ years of experience in rigging and skinning.
• Strong knowledge of character deformations and topology.
• Excellent knowledge of Maya and Motion Builder.
• Proficient in Python and MEL development.
• Experience in game development with animation teams.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years’ experience in rigging and skinning characters, complex props, and vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of character deformations and topology.
• Excellent knowledge of Maya and Motion Builder.
• Proficient Python and MEL development skills very desirable.
• Strong understanding of animation principles and an animation workflow.
• Experience in game development working with animation teams.
