Occupational Therapist, Per Diem - Remote

BrightStar Care of St. Paul is looking for a Per Diem OT to join our team! This is a great job for someone looking to add hours to another per diem job, looking to get back into the workforce, or someone just looking for flexibility.

In Short

• Provide occupational therapy services according to physician’s orders.
• Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status.
• Develop and adapt plans of care to enhance client quality of life.
• Coordinate interventions with other healthcare providers.
• Participate in client case conferences.
• Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries.
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
• Provide in-service education for agency personnel.
• Flexibility in scheduling and remote work for documentation.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Completed supervised fieldwork experience.
• Passed a nationally recognized examination for occupational therapists.
• Licensed to practice as an occupational therapist as required by state law.
• Two years of appropriate experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and evidence-based practices.
• Compliant with continuing education requirements.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA.
