Senior Proposal Writer - Remote

Overview

Brighton Health Plan Solutions is seeking a strategic, experienced Senior Proposal Writer to develop compelling proposals and help drive company growth and client retention.

In Short

• Lead the crafting, writing, and copyediting of proposals.
• Support formal RFP/RFIs and bespoke proposal requests.
• Project manage complex RFI/RFP responses.
• Write persuasive cover letters and executive summaries.
• Learn and retain product knowledge across multiple markets.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to write new content.
• Facilitate reviews with key proposal contributors.
• Assemble final proposals and supporting graphics.
• Regularly update proposal templates and files.
• Support client retention presentations and other business development needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in English or Journalism, or related degree.
• 2+ years of experience in health plan/health insurance.
• 4+ years of experience writing and coordinating proposals/RFPs.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and copyediting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and proposal software.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and flexibility for time-sensitive projects.
