Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Data Analyst extracts, manages, transforms, and analyzes data for statewide Help Me Grow Central Intake and Referral (CIR) activities and other departments at Bright Beginnings. The Data Analyst participates in query writing and measure development. The Data Analyst generates routine and ad hoc reports to support the Data team in guiding Bright Beginnings staff and key stakeholders through the interpretation of the reports and analysis to help facilitate decision-making. The Data Analyst provides information to measure program effectiveness and helps to organize, interpret, and present the data to key stakeholders.

• Minimum two years of related experience including data analysis, data management & manipulation, query writing, and report writing.
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate skill level in Power BI including query writing and report development.
• Proficiency with data management/analysis software (e.g. R, SAS, SPSS).
• Working knowledge of relational database software/applications.
• Familiarity with data visualization programs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use appropriate judgment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Bachelor’s degree in public health, social science, statistics, or related field.
