Senior Performance Media Buyer - Remote

Overview

Local Hero is seeking a strategic, results-obsessed, fast-thinking Senior Performance Media Buyer to lead digital acquisition and growth initiatives across our Owned & Operated (O&O) properties.

In Short

• Lead and optimize large-scale performance media buying initiatives across Local Hero’s O&O web properties.
• Develop and execute paid acquisition strategies to generate high-quality inbound calls and form leads for key verticals (insurance, home services, and more).
• Manage daily spend across Google Ads, Meta, Native, Programmatic DSPs, and Affiliate Networks to meet aggressive CPL and CPA targets.
• Analyze performance data, build predictive models, and identify trends to maximize lead quality, conversion rates, and revenue per visitor.
• Partner with analytics, creative, and landing page teams to test and refine ad messaging, audience segments, and conversion paths.
• Own yield optimization across channels — balancing monetization models including CPA, CPL, and CPC.
• Continuously experiment with bidding strategies, creative testing, and retargeting funnels to scale performance efficiently.
• Meet weekly with Senior Leaders to report out on performance, flag issues and provide additional recommendations for continued improvement and scale.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of hands-on performance media buying or digital acquisition experience, ideally in a high-volume lead generation environment.
• Deep experience with conversion tracking, attribution, and advanced analytics tools such as Google Analytics, GTM, Looker Studio, and Everflow.
• Mastery of campaign setup, audience segmentation, and bidding algorithms across Google, Meta, DSPs, and affiliate sources.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for modeling, pivoting, and performance forecasting.
• Strong grasp of data storytelling — the ability to translate metrics into clear business actions.
• Bonus points for experience in insurance, home services, or other performance-heavy verticals.
