Overview

BorrowMyDoggy is looking for a well-rounded and experienced Senior Developer to work on all technical areas of the business. This is a hands-on role, involving both day-to-day development work and longer-term strategic planning.

In Short

Shaping the company’s technical strategy at all levels.
Functional development of the product platform.
Ongoing refinement and improvement of all technical systems.
Routine maintenance and operational support of environments.
Issue triage, investigation, and resolution planning.
Designing for scalability, reliability, and budgetary requirements.
Maintaining and influencing the security of systems.
Designing, building, and maintaining integrations with third-party systems.
Modernization and replacement of legacy systems.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on technical experience.
Experience with customer-facing front-end systems.
Understanding of asynchronous approaches in service-based architecture.
Ability to plan system cutovers and mitigate risks.
Experience in reducing complexity in technical systems.
