Maritime System Technician - Remote

Overview

As a Maritime System Technician, you will leverage your technical skills and big-picture thinking to support defense missions and ensure the safety of maritime systems.

In Short

• Support senior-level DoD and Service personnel with complex systems.
• Conduct system safety hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Prepare system safety risk acceptance documents.
• Write technical reports and concepts of operation (CONOPs).
• Facilitate technical meetings and working groups.
• Supervise team members and work independently.
• Apply scientific and engineering principles to assess safety hazards.
• Engage in research and development of robotic and uncrewed systems.
• Possess a Secret clearance.
• Enjoy a dynamic team environment with client and contractor staff.

Requirements

• Experience with system safety hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Ability to organize and facilitate technical meetings.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in DOD training is a plus.
• Certifications in diving and rebreather technologies are preferred.
• Ability to present information to DoD review boards.
• Experience with hazard tracking systems.
• Ability to analyze and organize technical data.
