• Looking for a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in building scalable data pipelines on GCP.
• Design and implement robust data solutions for data-driven decisions.
• Work fully remote, open to candidates in Central America, Mexico, or Colombia.
• Full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule.
• Advanced Spanish and C1 English proficiency required.
• Immediate availability is preferable.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts for data quality.
• Develop streaming and batch pipelines.
• Write production-grade Python and SQL code.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services including Dataflow, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation.
• Experience with streaming data architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Understanding of data governance and performance optimization.
• Experience with business intelligence software.
• Knowledge of pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines is a plus.
