Federal Policy Manager, Clean Vehicles - Remote

Overview

The Federal Policy Manager, Clean Vehicles, will lead the development, coordination, and execution of BGA’s legislative and policy initiatives that advance clean vehicle technologies while promoting domestic manufacturing, job growth, and equitable outcomes for workers and communities.

In Short

• Lead the development of clean vehicles policy and legislation.
• Conduct education and outreach to key officials at the national level.
• Support BGA state staff on vehicle-related policies.
• Develop public messaging and materials regarding clean vehicles.
• Represent BGA in the clean vehicles community.
• Foster alignment among BGA partners around clean vehicles policy.
• Provide regular updates on BGA initiatives.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Work from the DC office two days a week.
• Travel throughout the region regularly.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in policy advocacy.
• Understanding of labor movement and workers’ rights.
• Proven ability to manage coalitions and mobilize partners.
• Skilled in public speaking and persuasive advocacy.
• Strong commitment to justice and equity.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating.
• Ability to travel within the DMV area.
• Deep commitment to the mission of the BlueGreen Alliance.
