QA Engineer Intern (Remote - 20 hours)

Overview

We are a specialized Shopify agency developing tailored e-commerce solutions for ambitious brands. To ensure the quality of our projects at the highest level, we are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer (m/f/d) who tests and optimizes our projects with a keen eye for detail.

In Short

• Planning, execution, and documentation of tests for Shopify stores and apps
• Development and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Conducting cross-browser and cross-device tests (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet)
• Testing store functionalities, checkout processes, themes, Liquid code, and frontend components
• Identification, analysis, and documentation of bugs, including close collaboration with developers and project managers
• Continuous improvement of QA processes

Requirements

• Experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing (ideally in e-commerce or Shopify environment)
• Solid knowledge in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Git / version control
• Experience with ClickUp or comparable ticket systems
• Browser Developer Tools
• Experience with testing tools, such as BrowserStack, is a plus
• Basic understanding of Liquid (Shopify template language) is a plus
• Very detail-oriented and structured working style
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Availability for 4 days a week
