Senior Cost Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will be part of the Global Operations Controllership team, working remotely to manage cost accounting processes for the Americas region.

In Short

• Responsible for Annual Cost Roll and Quarterly Cost Update processes.
• Perform purchase price variance analysis.
• Lead centralization of standard costing for distribution centers and manufacturing.
• Prepare and report information related to costing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance functions.
• Support INFOR implementation projects.
• Develop and maintain costing policy documentation.
• Perform standard costing activities for new products.
• Assist in resolving blocked invoices due to cost differences.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting or related fields.
• Multi-plant and multi-country manufacturing experience preferred.
• INFOR Costing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with process improvement projects.
• Strong PC skills in various applications.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate automation of manual processes.
