Senior/Lead Security Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Conduct advanced penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Operate a bug bounty program.
• Implement security best practices in application development.
• Manage security controls in cloud environments (AWS, Cloudflare).
• Collaborate with IT and development teams on security initiatives.
• Mentor and train other engineers on security practices.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Design and implement security architecture.
• Evaluate and manage security tools.
• Respond to security incidents and monitor security events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security or ethical hacking.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architectures.
• Proficiency in penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Kali, etc.).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Proficiency with AWS and modern web applications.
• Understanding of network security and cryptography.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten and NIST standards.
• Relevant security certifications are desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
