Overview

The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

In Short

  • The intern will work closely with TOPS Global Training and business leaders to support the enhancement of the Global GMP Training Program.
  • Responsibilities will include gathering, organizing, and analyzing Learning Management System (LMS) data and training process information.
  • Assist with creating training-related controlled documents (procedures and work instructions).
  • Right-sizing training across TOPS.
  • Support the business case for BioMarin's new Learning Management System.
  • Gain industry experience while working alongside a talented team on meaningful projects.
  • Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college.
  • Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship.
  • Some positions will be open to remote interns, but employee must be within United States borders.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Strong data collection, organization, and analysis skills.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Ability to produce quality deliverables and work with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
  • Advanced project management skills are desired.
  • Proficiency with PowerBI and/or SharePoint web-design is a plus.
