Overview

Biogen’s Decision & Quality Analytics Innovation (DQAI) team is seeking a Data Analyst – Decision Intelligence to drive strategic decision-making using advanced statistical modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques.

In Short

• Develop and enhance simulation models to assess risk, time, cost, and value.
• Provide portfolio-level insights with scenario analysis and trade-offs.
• Implement and visualize key metrics through dashboards and reports.
• Deploy advanced statistical and machine learning models.
• Engage with functional stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
• Ensure data quality and integration by collaborating across teams.
• Facilitate user testing and feedback to improve modeling tools.

Requirements

• B.S. (or higher) in Data Science, Healthcare Analytics, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Pharma R&D business processes.
• Experience with Monte Carlo simulations and portfolio analytics.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Hands-on experience with exploratory data analysis.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, R, SQL, or JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $103,000 to $165,000.
