The Medicare Advantage Field Sales Representative plays a crucial role in positively impacting the health and wellbeing of seniors and disabled individuals by generating new business through direct outreach to Medicare eligible beneficiaries.

In Short

  • Conduct all phases of selling including identifying, qualifying, and meeting with prospective clients.
  • Generate leads and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Deliver sales presentations to prospects in compliance with marketing guidelines.
  • Qualify prospects onsite per CMS regulations.
  • Complete and submit enrollment forms for closed sales.
  • Track sales calls and results using an electronic CRM system.
  • Communicate information accurately and timely to prospective customers.
  • Attend planned sales and department meetings.

Requirements

  • Must be located in specified counties in New York and willing to travel.
  • Compassion, empathy, and patience are essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of marketing, sales, or community relations experience.
  • Managed care experience, preferably in Medicare, is preferred.
  • Experience working with underserved populations.
  • Insurance licensure is required.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
