Bookkeeper - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payables, and reconciling bank statements. The Bookkeeper will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our organization.

In Short

• Record day-to-day financial transactions
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Develop a chart of accounts that defines bookkeeping policies and procedures.
• Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements
• Prepare financial reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and ability to learn new software
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field
