Accounting Process Specialist (H/F) - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Process Specialist will be responsible for improving operational efficiency for accountants by providing support and solutions for issues encountered with the Sage tool and processes.

In Short

• Contribute to the M&R accounting roadmap in collaboration with project teams.
• Ensure adherence to core model and train key users on accounting processes.
• Communicate and formalize principles for handling tickets in Jira.
• Organize workshops for business validation and implementation.
• Identify business risks and optimizations.
• Define and standardize accounting practices.
• Update master data owned by the M&R Accounting team.
• Document functional problems and solutions.
• Define testing strategies and validate deliveries.
• Support change management for new tools and processes.

Requirements

• Higher education in accounting or finance with 5-8 years of experience in an international accounting environment.
• Good knowledge of Sage ERP and experience in deployment or improvement projects.
• Professional level of English for written and oral communication.
• Autonomous with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive in proposing necessary improvements to accounting processes.
• Interest in data processing and analysis.
