• Seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer (Lead Position) with extensive experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL development.
• Position performed virtually from home office on EST time schedule.
• Requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for database initiatives.
• Expert level support with PL/SQL development including Procedures, Triggers, Scripting, functions, and packages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with Oracle and PostgreSQL technologies and best practices.
• Perform query and database tuning for performance improvement.
• Experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Maintain code using Git and GitLab.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Database Development.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL SQL.
• Experience with cloud database platforms such as AWS RDS and Azure Database Services.
• Strong background in database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery strategies and backup/restoration procedures.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and make architectural recommendations.
• Comfort working in agile teams.
• Prior experience supporting a government client preferred.
