• Seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing team.
• Primarily remote position with travel as requested.
• Requires availability during EST business hours.
• US Citizenship is required with Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Safeguard the Theater Blood application by embedding cybersecurity across its lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with DoD RMF and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Implement Zero Trust principles and automated security testing.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and mission stakeholders.
• Support RMF activities and prepare documentation for accreditation packages.
• Provide Tier 3 cybersecurity reach-back support for deployed systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and DISA STIGs.
• Proficiency with security tools (e.g., Nessus, Fortify, Splunk).
• Experience with container and cloud security (Kubernetes, AWS).
• Strong background in secure coding practices and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD toolchains.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain secret security clearance required.
