Overview

BBVA Securities Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager – Engineering to lead complex transformation programs under the firm’s BSI 2.0 initiative, enabling the expansion of BSI’s capital markets platform.

In Short

• Lead cross-functional project delivery for technology and operational initiatives.
• Drive execution of key workstreams including IT architecture uplift and regulatory onboarding.
• Manage stakeholder engagement across Legal, Compliance, Front Office, and Risk.
• Oversee integration of front-to-back systems including OMS and risk engines.
• Own project plans, milestones, budgets, and executive reporting.
• Ensure alignment with U.S. regulatory requirements.
• Support the definition and implementation of target operating models.
• Collaborate with BBVA SA and the BBVA NY Branch for seamless alignment.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex transformation programs.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in broker-dealers or regulated financial institutions.
• Knowledge of Banking and Financial Sector regulatory framework.
• Experience with capital markets systems such as Murex and Calypso.
• Strong understanding of financial products and U.S. regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or IT.
• Certifications such as PMP or CSM appreciated.
• English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and create deliverable documents.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
