As a Senior Blockchain Security Engineer at Base, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of onchain development, working closely with product teams to enhance user safety.

In Short

• Perform threat modeling and security assessments of blockchain products and services.
• Propose, plan, and execute Red Team operations based on realistic threats.
• Write detailed reports covering the goals and outcomes of Red Team operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3+ years of blockchain security experience.
• 3+ years of Red Team experience with a track record of breaking complex systems.
• Experience identifying critical vulnerabilities in blockchain protocols.
• Extensive knowledge of the blockchain ecosystem, including L1 and L2 networks.
• Expertise in designing security countermeasures.
• Energy and self-drive for continuous learning in a rapidly changing space.
• Excellence in communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in building relationships with product and engineering teams.
