Vice President of Finance and Accounting - Remote

Overview

BARBRI, Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Finance and Accounting to lead our Finance and Accounting function. Reporting directly to the CFO, this critical leadership role will oversee all accounting, financial reporting (domestic and international), FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance activities. This is a highly visible position requiring strong technical acumen, operational leadership, and experience within a private equity environment.

In Short

• Lead and manage all accounting, finance, and treasury functions.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure proper treasury management and cash forecasting.
• Direct all internal and external financial reporting.
• Oversee annual audits, tax filings, and external advisor relationships.
• Lead the FP&A function, driving budgeting and forecasting.
• Direct risk management and internal controls compliance.
• Partner with the CFO on strategic planning and capital allocation.
• Champion continuous improvement of financial systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong foundation in public accounting.
• Experience managing treasury operations and audits.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and international reporting.
• Proven leadership in accounting and FP&A functions.
• Hands-on, operational mindset with strong communication skills.
