Overview

The Associate Manager, Physician Coding is responsible for leading a team of coders in the Surgical Trauma GI area, ensuring coding accuracy and compliance while assisting in production coding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Surgical Coding, Trauma, or GI.
• Degree in Health Information or related field.
• Active coding certification (CCS, CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA).
• Strong knowledge of coding software and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work with common office software.
• Experience in a healthcare organization preferred.
• Ability to manage teams and evaluate performance.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills for process improvement.
