The Branch Operations Advisor role at BMO adviceDirect & BMO SmartFolio is a remote position focused on delivering personalized investment advice and building strong client relationships from home.

In Short

• Work from home with flexible hours between 8:00AM and 10:00PM EST.
• Provide customized investment advice to clients.
• Support clients with onboarding, trade orders, and investment strategies.
• Build trust and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with a team of advisors and support resources.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is necessary.
• Bilingualism in English and French, Cantonese, or Mandarin is an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Industry accreditations such as CIM, CFA, or CFP are preferred.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
• Knowledge of equity, mutual funds, GICs, HISAs, ETFs, and bonds.
• Understanding of industry regulations and standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Bilingualism in English and French or other languages is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Industry accreditations or working towards them preferred.
