Financial Planning Assistant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Financial Planning Assistant to support the operations and client onboarding processes of a growing wealth management firm. This remote, full time role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and organized, with experience in financial services or administrative support.

In Short

• Onboard new financial planning clients by collecting and organizing all required documentation.
• Conduct initial client due diligence and compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, both physical and digital.
• Follow up with clients to obtain outstanding documents or information.
• Assist financial planners in preparing client review materials.
• Coordinate the execution of client agreements and other legal documents.
• Provide general administrative support to the financial planning team as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in a financial planning or advisory firm as an assistant.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity in using financial planning software and CRM systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Exceptionally client oriented and great client service skills.
• Knowledge of investment products and retirement planning concepts is preferred.
