Financial Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Financial Accountant at Baltic Assist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks and developing financial models to support the company's strategic objectives.

In Short

• Handle primary accounting operations including bank operations and payroll transactions.
• Collect and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy.
• Check the accuracy of balance sheets and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare reports in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Assist with VAT and other tax reports.
• Support external partners during audits.
• Communicate with customers on accounting matters.
• Share knowledge with less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance or similar.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in Finance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Independent thinking.
