In Short

• The HSE Specialist enforces and coordinates occupational health policies and procedures.
• Responsible for compliance enforcement and employee training on health and safety standards.
• Reports to the HSEQ Manager.
• Demonstrates leadership and subject matter expertise in HSE.
• Participates in developing and implementing EHS initiatives and policies.
• Establishes relationships with employees and external entities for EHS outcomes.
• Supports HSEQ team alignment with corporate goals and compliance.
• Assists in incident investigation and analysis.
• Conducts field audits and inspections.
• Maintains EHS documentation and enforces policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Health and Safety or related field.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills to influence safety culture.
• First Aid, CPR, AED certified or willing to obtain.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to traverse uneven ground during various weather conditions.
• OSHA 500 certification preferred.
• Proficient with standard business digital tools.
